Disney is known for their incredible visual effects, and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is no exception. The movie features some of the most stunning compositing work ever seen on the big screen. For example, the scene where Rey and Kylo Ren fight in the snow was created almost entirely with visual effects.

The team at Disney used a variety of techniques to create the scene, including compositing, 3D animation, and matte painting. They also used a technique called “digital doubles,” which involves creating a digital replica of an actor and adding it to the scene. This technique was used to create the scenes featuring Rey and Kylo Ren fighting together.
